Helping women rebuild trust with their body
through nourishment and understanding.
A moment of recognition
The body begins asking for our attention — not because it is working against us, but because it is trying to communicate something important.
For many women, years of stress, caregiving, people-pleasing, pushing through, and overriding their own needs can leave them feeling disconnected from themselves and unsure of what their body is asking for.
This session offers an opportunity to slow down, listen, and begin rebuilding that relationship.
A different kind of support
The shift in approach
Many approaches focus solely on symptoms. Over almost two decades of supporting women through burnout, digestive challenges, fatigue, and chronic stress, one thing has become clear: lasting wellbeing requires more than addressing symptoms alone. It requires understanding the whole person.
Body
Supporting nourishment, digestion, energy, hormones, and the physical foundations of health.
Brain
Exploring stress patterns, nervous system resilience, mindset, and the ways our thoughts, beliefs, and experiences influence how we feel.
Being
Reconnecting with yourself, your values, intuition, and the deeper relationship you have with your body.
Because healing is not simply about feeling better. It is also about rebuilding trust in yourself and remembering who you are beneath the noise.
By exploring these interconnected aspects together, we move beyond symptom management and towards a way of living that feels nourishing, sustainable, and aligned. This is not about finding the perfect diet. Nor is it about fixing what is wrong. It is about developing a relationship with your body that feels supportive rather than adversarial — because when we understand the body through this wider lens, we gain the clarity needed to respond to its needs with greater confidence, compassion, and self-trust.

Experience & Lived Understanding
Drawing on almost 20 years of experience across nutritional therapy, medicinal cooking, yoga psychology, and nervous system physiology, I understand the many ways nourishment, stress, lifestyle, and life experiences can shape how we feel within our bodies.
But more than any qualification, it has been my own lived experiences that have deepened the way I work today — including my journey through IBS, endometriosis, burnout, and learning to reconnect with my own body's needs.
My Brother Patrick's Story
One of my greatest teachers has been my brother, Patrick, who has Down syndrome and was diagnosed with epilepsy at just six months old. There were times when Patrick experienced up to ten seizures a day. The impact on his life was immense. Frequent hospital visits, constant medical appointments, depleted energy, and overwhelming fatigue became part of our family's reality.
Growing up, I often heard phrases like, "That's just the way he is" — yet something within me struggled to accept that a diagnosis should define the limits of a person's wellbeing. Patrick was always so much more than his diagnosis. Alongside his medical care, my mother and I became deeply committed to supporting Patrick as a whole person — through nourishment, movement, yoga, connection, and an abundance of love.
Over time, we witnessed profound changes. Seizures that had once occurred multiple times a day gradually reduced to one or two a month. Today, Patrick is an independent man who embraces life wholeheartedly, enjoying friendships, community, and the simple joys that make life meaningful. Epilepsy remains part of his story, but it no longer defines the entirety of it.
And perhaps that is one of the greatest lessons he has taught me. A diagnosis can offer important information, but it should never cause us to lose sight of the person standing before us.
This experience shaped the way I work today. It taught me to look beyond labels, remain curious about what the body may need, and support the whole person rather than focusing solely on symptoms. He has taught me that while we may not always change a diagnosis, we can often influence how someone experiences life within it. And that can change everything.
Your Session
Together we may explore:
This work is not about perfection.
It is about helping you understand your body so you can respond to its needs with greater confidence, clarity, and self-trust.
Following your consultation, you will receive your personalised Embodied Nourishment Guide — bringing together everything we have explored during your session.
Created specifically for you, this guide takes the guesswork out of your healing journey.
No more wondering where to begin.
No more trying to piece everything together on your own.
Instead, you'll have a clear and compassionate roadmap that helps you understand your body more deeply and supports you in taking the next steps with confidence.
Supporting you physically, mentally, and emotionally, your guide may include:
• Personalised nourishment recommendations designed around your unique needs, lifestyle, and current capacity.
• A curated collection of deeply nourishing recipes to help you feel supported, energised, and cared for from the inside out.
• Body, Brain & Being practices to help you build resilience, reconnect with yourself, and integrate the work between sessions.
• Reflection prompts and supportive resources that encourage deeper awareness and self-understanding.
• Clear and achievable next steps, so you leave feeling supported, empowered, and reassured that you don't have to navigate this journey alone.
This isn't another plan built around restriction, symptom suppression, or striving for perfection.
It's an invitation to understand yourself more deeply and create a way of living that supports the person behind the symptoms.
Because health unfolds not only through what we do, but through feeling nourished, understood, and fully supported along the way.
""I've been working with Lorraine for almost a year, and the biggest proof of our work came during one of the most stressful periods of my life — and my digestion did not falter. Normally I would struggle with an upset stomach, bloating, and digestive issues. Every year I would end up on antibiotics and steroids — but since working with Lorraine, I have had neither. This is the best money I have ever spent. I invest a lot in my health, but this is such a holistic approach with real, life-lasting results. Lorraine has helped me unlock my own inner wisdom — not always easy, sometimes uncomfortable and challenging — but absolutely worth the ride.""
